Our history shows work as a production of something material.  Todays work in many instances produces records and history but very little material goods.  Have we resolved the importance and residual value of todays work?  Without residual value when work stops so does the product and what it is worth.  Todays economic problem is a short look into that problem.  How do we rationalize what we do and how to be adequately compensated for something that is neither a service or material in nature.  Once economic activity ceases so does the product.  Is this a result of todays economy
