The Environment is possibly the biggest topic to discuss, yet it doesn't merit it's own real "topic" listing.  This parallels the tone of how environmentalism is recieved by many today.  It is most often discussed as "the energy problem" in a debate, or in a 4 paragraph story on the 5th page.  But it is our home, our supplier (where do you think the raw materials to make the circut boards we're all using right now came from?), and to just as many as not, it is our mother.  Why has the rabid crusading for the earth seen in the 70's diminished today, despite the terrifying collapse of our polar ecosystems and the impending effects on the rest of the world?  When these changes happen, they will leave absolutely no one untouched, so why will no one face them?
