What is the true unemployment rate in the US today ?
Unemployment is measured by how many americans are currently drawing unemployment benefits . Those workers who's benefits ran out before they were able to find further employment are no longer included in the rate and those graduates from schools who are unable to find work are also excluded . The unemployment rate is widely used by our government to set policy and determine large amounts of funding for area's worse than others . It is my belief that the rate should include all able-bodied persons between the ages of 18 and 62 excluding those in school and retired all others should be included . I am just curios about what other people think on this subject .
