An American, to my mind, is one who strives to put noble concepts into action. While Specter speaks of separation of powers, and the pursuit of truth and justice, the fact remains that when confronted with the opportunity to do something noble, and force a President to properly investigate the murder of his predecessor, he refused to do so. I am referring, of course, to Specter's stint as counsel for the Warren Commission. Specter's failure is demonstrated in this video: While I respect that this website is all about high-mindedness, sometimes the lack of credibility of the messenger of an idea, blurs the idea, and requires comment.
