In 2007 America's military endured the highest death total of American Soldiers in the war (901 deaths 6075 wounded)... But the media seems to have become bored with listing death totals and reporting the many of the tragedies....
This question has three parts....
Is it shame on the media for spending too much time on the more lucrative topics of Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan instead of Iraq?
Or is the poor coverage simply an unavoidable symptom of a highly capitalistic system where media’s first concern must be their share holders?
Or is it shame on the American people who is more interested in hearing about celebrities than he or she is about Iraq?
Who is at fault? And most importantly, what can be done to fix this?
