We know that the greatest causation of failing communities is the loss of solid businesses supplying adequate employment.
But in the past, the moral beliefs of the community were able to hold a community together for quite some time after jobs left.
Today, I wonder if the church causes conflicting moral messages with how sociaty really is.
A youth growing up thinking that God is justly looking over him, suddenly realizes that industry picked up and moved, leaving him with a half an arse edu. and zero unskilled jobs.
It seems that the church's fake moral world in combination with how disconected society really is, would be a cocktail for criminal activity and hatred.
Would not it be better to level with him and tell him that his good christian brothers are far more apt to piss on him and leave him behind when money is at stake? I'm sorry, "Trickle Down" is the proper term.
