I agree... but at the same time I don't think anyone is worthy of heaven, which is why Jesus died; to open the gates of heaven for all mankind, to those who would except and believe in this sacrifice he made for us. In choosing him he would help us throughout our lives to be the best that he could help us be, even if being the best isn't always the best in the eyes of the world. Jesus gave us two commands: "The Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' "The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:28-31. When you look at the characteristics of love, patience, forgiveness, kindness, etc. He gave us the perfect example of how to love people even if you're not christian. No one can be perfect or worthy of heaven, but we can love perfectly, that much is possible and can be obtainable. Which I think is how God really judges whether we go to heaven. If God allowed every single person he loved to go there than everyone who's ever come into existence WOULD be there. but perhaps the question is not how much he loves us. but rather how much do we love him in return? If someone doesn't give two shits about being in heaven than why would they end up there? Every soul is God's favorite... he only uses some to reach others.
