I am not a scientist, I know that.
But I've been toying around for a few sleepless days with the idea of making life that's suitable for Mars.
Question: Tell me what is stopping us from simulating conditions on another planet and attempting to create life in those scenarios?
How would one begin the insemination of life on another planet?
Wouldn't it be wise to use what would be our version of stromatolytes to start creating atmosphere now?
I'm not arrogant enough to think I am the first to turn this idea around in my head, but I need to know, what is really stopping us?
Can anyone recommend any books on the subject?
