Love for fairly tales doesn’t end with childhood. We do spin many such tales quite often, when our ignorance about anything does not stop us from speaking about it. Unknowingly, we feel that we know it. Say someone asks directions to a place in a city you’ve lived for quite sometime, you would still want to help them though you have no idea about where it is. This phenomenon also underlines discussions or parleys, where urged to participate, we do indulge in the talk though we feebly understand the topic being discussed. Why is it that we feign ignorance? Are we wired to do so?

My take on this is jotted out at Pardon my brazen publicity.
