The greatest source of the beautiful moments that open us to new possibilities in understanding are those flashes of inspiration. Many of us seem to have a beautiful moment of inspired action followed by a long period of falling prey to mindless routines of daily life. All too often inspiration is thought to be triggered by grand events or rituals. In the self imposed time constraints of daily life these events are often unrealistic. For myself I find that a small ritual like focusing on my questions while drinking a simple glass of water before bed keeps the flame of inpiration lit from day to day. How do we inspire ourselfs in small ways every day?
