Papa Ratzi is asking the medical profession not to be 'arbitrary' when ending the life of brain dead patients. A Vatican statement seems to say he's concerned about the implications for the 'soul' of the person regarding the manner of their physical life ending? Well, my question to him is, where is this soul? how does it interact with the physical? if it can't die with the physical body, what would it matter that the brain is dead, but the heart still beating? If he wants to restrict people who work in medicine, then give some clear evidence as to what he's talking about. Soul? proof please.
