I just finished a book on consciousness and I discovered something I never knew before. Did any of you know about the blind spot each human has 15 degrees from the retina? Upon further research, I found myself asking the question, why can't we see these blindspots? There are many theories on why, but none of them seem comprehensible. There is this idea of the brain filling in for space within the blindspot, but I'm still researching. If anyone has any additional information on consciousness, favorably visual functions, please let me know.
