Diversity can be a very valuable thing, but people also need to seek insularity. There is much to learn from people of different racial, economic, and intellectual backgrounds, however those people who have similar backgrounds also ofer important wisdom. Our agendas are complex, and we can benfit by discussing them with people who share our philosophy. Communication is difficult at the best of times, and it is harder with people who don't share my most fundamental worldview. We often achieve success with others when we are surrounded by people of similar skills, interests, and objectives.
