What is harder to pretend to be good or evil?

On the weekend I was watching a movie and I started wondering what is harder for an actor or even a regular person: to pretend to be good or evil?I just truly wonder what is harder for an actor, to pretend to be evil but in a cartoonish way, or evil in a raw real life way. And how might they prepare themselves to be able to act out those scenes; do they watch some specific type of films? Or do something else to be able to get in character? When you pretend to be good supposedly when you are “good” you only have to smile and behave well. But what if you’ve done something really bad; can a person truly hide easier his or her guilt by pretending to be good? Or is it a lot easier to pretend to be bad because you need to seem tough, or you want to communicate a different message to society, a message in which you want them to fear you, and therefore to be able to convince them you have to pretend to be evil. I wonder how persons that are put in a hard situation in which they have to prove that they are “bad” are able to pretend to be evil by committing a felony or something else.   … Read More

Why failure in marriages has become so common? Is it lack of commitment?

I've been wondering for quite a while why do young couples seem to rush so much into marriage only to get divorced a few months or years later. It makes no sense to rush into something that seems to be already set to be a great disappointment. I have observed that many persons that have married recently seem to have less patience and don’t even try to fix the problems that they have to deal with in their marriages. A lot of persons seem to find it easier to ask for a divorce than to try to work out the obstacles and problems that surge in their marriage. At the same time I admire the couples whose marriages have lasted over several decades. A common tendency that I’ve been able to observe in these marriages is that both have a lot of patience and have forgiven their partner for many mistakes that they’ve made, even cheating. So the only thing that I can extract from this is that these persons have a higher commitment to marriage than the young couples that swear that they are madly in love and that their marriages will survive anything. … Read More

OMG! That was exactly what I was thinking right now that I'm taking Theology and Anthropology 2, but when you start trying to relate everything that you study in your career the clases that you take are all related. And in the end they are quite useful because they help you have a more adecute and better defined point of view. Because they give a an insight that is quite general about culture that you should have. This way you will have a better foundation to your point of view because you will have more knowledge. Some of the clases also have quite intreting topics, that can generate an interest that can help you figure out what you want to do with your life besides the objective part of working, that mainlky consists in producing money and goods.

I think that its really about setting priorities in life, because if you have as a goal to become a great leader in a big company you are not going to start a family at a young age. That is one of the reasons why there are many women that wait until to get married after they have satisfied to some extent their professonial goals. Women should try to balance their personal goals with their professional goals, this way they will be fulfilling their desires and they will set a better example for society.
